Although the area in which the region stands today has an historical record, the emergence in the Saudi dynasty started in central Arabia in 1744. That calendar year, Muhammad ibn Saud, the ruler in the town of Advertisement-Dir'iyyah in the vicinity of Riyadh, joined forces using a cleric, Muhammad ibn Abd-al-Wahhab, to produce a new political ent
